Our jewelry manufacturing process, in six written steps
From your first message to delivered pieces. At each step you know what happens, what we need from you and what you get back — and nothing is produced before you approve a physical sample.
-
Brief
You tell us what you want to make: designs, files, sketches or a sample, plus what you know about finish, quantities and timing.
- From you
- Send the form or an e-mail with your files. Partial information is fine.
- You receive
- Questions on anything unclear, and confirmation of the next step.
-
Quotation
We review the design with the partner workshop: construction, technique, finish, plating. Feasibility is confirmed before prices are given.
- From you
- Answer our technical questions; tell us about market requirements such as nickel or lead limits.
- You receive
- A written quote: development and sample costs, unit prices, quantities per design, estimated timing and shipping terms.
-
Prototype
A model is made and a first brass sample is produced, raw or plated as agreed.
- From you
- Confirm the quote for the development phase.
- You receive
- Photos and measurements, then the physical sample by courier.

Approval
You review the sample. Changes are made and re-sampled where needed.
- From you
- Approve the sample in writing, or list the changes you want.
- You receive
- A written specification attached to the approved sample — the reference for production.
-
Production
Your run is produced — often 30 to 100 pieces per design — finished and plated where required, then checked against the approved sample and specification.
- From you
- Confirm the production order on the agreed terms.
- You receive
- Progress updates, and notice of any issue before it affects your delivery.

Shipping
Pieces are packed as agreed and shipped by the method set in the quote, to you or directly to your plater.
- From you
- Confirm the delivery address and any labeling or packing instructions.
- You receive
- Shipping documents and tracking.

Why we don't publish fixed lead times
A plain cast stud and a hand-fabricated, plated necklace do not take the same time or need the same quantities. Rather than publish a number that would be wrong for most projects, we state timing and quantities for your design in the quote, and keep you informed if anything changes.
What affects timing most:
- The complexity of the piece and the technique it needs
- How many rounds of prototype revisions you request
- Quantities, and the number of designs in the order
- Plating, and any protective coating
- Festival periods in India, Diwali in particular
- The shipping method you choose
Start with step one
A few sketches, photos of pieces you love, or a technical file — whatever you have is enough to start. First collections are welcome; you do not need a final budget to ask.
You can send sketches, reference photos, CAD files, a quantity per design and a finish.
